I was watching Earth Story presented by Professor Aubrey William George Manning as I was doing some homework tonight (well, ten minutes ago), and he said “Any hot body will, unless you’re continuously heating it, cool over time”, without thinking I looked up at the television and told him, in no uncertain terms – “Hah… Ala’s won’t!!”

Roo – “What would you like for your birthday from my parents? Money towards an iPhone or something else?“

Ala – “Awwww, I don’t mind really. Whatever they’d like to give me..“

Roo – “Well, I’m sure they’d want to get their future daughter-in-law something nice.“

Ala – “Ask them to give you some money towards a ring then.“

Roo – “Well yeah, but if they give you money towards an iPhone I can give you a ring every day! “

I’m so funny..

Here’s a question I posed to Ala last night as we were making out soup*..

“If there were to be a sudden worldwide shortage of either hot or cold water, which would you rather be without? The hot water would be at a constant temperature of 72 °C (161.6 °F) and the cold water would be a stable 3 °C (37.4 °F)”**

* – The soup was lovely – Cabbage, potato, corniflower, mushrooms, white onions, lots of spices, dried dill and unsweetened soya milk. She took the rest to work with her in a pickle jar I prepared.

** – No, you can’t heat the cold water to make it hot or let the hot water cool to make it cold!

I’m back from Poland and we had a lovely time (not that I’m putting words in Ala’s mouth), it’s weird not being with her after spending two weeks and almost every minute together..

I’m glad I’m not in Toronto though, imagine being billed twice for your Binary Internetworking NICAM Systemship, oh wait, he means bins.

Anyway, I’ll post all the Poland photos tomorrow, until then here’s Ala enjoying my kisses..
