I need to sit down for an hour one day and just type, with a mace!!

It’s been my first day off in ages and the first day Ala and I have had to ourselves for what feels like weeks, it’s been great, I really missed hanging around with her! We had a sudden urge to picnic this evening so we “threw together” a load of sandwiches, filled an empty fizzy spring water bottle with hot lemony tea (which melted the bottle slightly, oops) and dashed to the park to catch the last of the sunshine..

Before that she sucked my shoulder with her mouth (as I was talking to my mum on the phone with my mouth, classy) and this is what she made.. I love it!! Oh, if you’re wondering what happened to my cheek Ala went at it with a scalpel a few days ago to remove some old jewellery I had issues with when I was in Canada – A long story but it feels better already, cheers sausage!

Finally, we’re off to Poland for a few weeks in April, can’t wait, can’t!

Since going cold turkey from the Internets (I’ve not missed it at all by the way, especially not all the drama and nonsense) I’ve only used my laptop for playing Scrabble, Lexulous, watching documentaries, emailing CST and talking to someone on MSN.

Anyway, one thing I’ve noticed is how people treat you differently when you’re walking around with a grin on your face, paint on your jeans, mud on your face and muck on your shoes. I’m not saying they look down upon you but there’s definitely a difference in the way people interact with you.

It doesn’t bother me in the slightest, it’s quite amusing actually because in the back of my mind I’m thinking “I know PHP, Javascript and Karate. I just choose not to use them!“

Time to start working now, wheeee. I threw another stick of RAM in the videobox a week or so ago and as I hoped it’s made a pretty big difference to the Procoder/rendering speed.

After that I’m going to tidy a bit, paint something/draw stuff then go and play in the snow, and tonight CST and I are playing with needles.

My lips are still cracked, this is the first time it’s ever happened and I don’t like it one jot.
