I cancelled postponed meeting a friend for coffee tonight so I could trundle down to Cherry Beach, have some time to myself, paddle and listen to Nick Cave on my swanky new headphones (the first pair I've ever owned that don't fall out when they become tangled in my scarf. Huge moment for me!)

Yeah, I know it's soppy but it's one of my favourite songs by him*, so shush, I do what I want.

I'm also really enjoying Cardiacs at the moment (thanks Clare).

* – As well as these, one, two, three, four, everyone love Sal Hassanpour get on the floor.

Hmmm, it's probably strange that I thought of Sal whilst trying to find a rhyme but as I said, I do what I want.
