For the only non-Canadian in the house I seem to be doing a pretty good job at this whole winter lark, it is my second I suppose!

The pots are washed and put away, the path leading to the front door's free of ice/snow and sprinkled with special crystals (cat/eco-friendly, apparently), although when I went to buy some I absentmindedly asked for a bag of ice, I didn't realise the mistake I made until he handed it to me with a puzzled expression on his face. Oh and I mopped and swept the floors again so this house is clean, ish.

Anyway, last night I downloaded a torrent containing 700MB of English adverts from the eighties, here's a small selection..

My favourites are the adverts for computers, there's also a cute bit near the end.
