If anyone in Toronto ever needs anything moved/collected/dropped off.. I can't recommend the following people enough, they were super helpful, polite, wonderful and extremely reasonable! Actually they were the cheapest of all the quotes I received.

They even gave me a discount if I promised to spread the word, which I'm doing now.

All moved, so tired, but so happy. Thappy?

Here's a bundle of photos of our new place I can't be bothered to edit properly..

I'm not going to go into much detail about each photo, but there's a basement with kitchen and shower and loo and green trunk things, three bedrooms, a reception room, a living room, a semi-converted attic, a garden, a SWING on the patio (which might be coming down because of termites but I talked to them about that today), blue and white square things up the stairs, gorgeous flooring and, the moving truck and before and after shots, and, and..

As I said to Noah today, the more time I spend there the more I fall in love with it!

Now to pump up the inflatable bed, deal with the landlady one last time, rest my weary body and and watch some David Attenborough.

Maybe not eh. Ugh!

Apart from a lovely meal with Sal, Claudia, Mr. Hood (thank you so much for all your help guys) and Noah, last night was a wee bit of a disaster..

When I arrived home from work I logged into my online banking only to be told that my account had been locked and I was to call their fraud prevention department in England, thirty minutes and about $60 later it turns out that my account had been compromised and somehow they had got away with £1200.

I managed to unlock my account, change my address to the the new place in Toronto but still it was all rather stressful. Fingers crossed I get my money back because however they managed to gain access to my account was nothing to do with me.

Also, the lady we hired from Craigslist to move all our stuff decided not to show up, because we were supposed to move last night my landlady told the new tenant he could move in tomorrow, eeep.

Oh, and I almost got into a fight with a man on the bus, when the flaps opened he just threw an empty cup and some McDonalds stuff out of the door onto the pavement. I told him off quite loudly, he squared up to me being all shouty with the chest sticking out. Luckily the contents of the bus stood up for me and he was thrown off. Hoooorah!

On that note (and I'm sorry to be asking favours again, really) would anyone with a relatively small van/large car be willing to help me move some stuff today or tomorrow morning? It's about a five minute drive between locations and I imagine it won't take more than three trips.

I'll give you monies and love in return for your petrol/time.
