I'm so effing disappointed, and embarrassed.

For about a year and a half there's been a 'Cormorant' sitting on a pole just off the coast here.

I've trundled down there to take photos of it couple of times, even pointed it out to friends.

About ten minutes ago I found out from a friend in the RNLI that it's actually a plastic model of a Cormorant, nailed to the post, with NAILS!

I feel like I've just learned father christmas isn't real, the tooth-fairy doesn't exist and that the moon isn't made out of cheese, all at once.

I wish he'd never told me, but, it kind of makes sense now, as it's always there, and never moves, but still!

Actually, now I look at the photo I took, how did I not notice *interrobang*.
