Oh my.

Last night a bracelet that's been on my ankle finally gave up the ghost (after being repaired once already with black cotton), it'd been hanging on by a thread for weeks and weeks, poor thing.

I think it was Girl or Vampy that gave it to me, maybe, I probably should know but it'd been there for so long it's lost all it's colour and shape, heh.

A couple of days ago, I was at work and passed two old chaps (both around seventy) chatting away under a doorway sheltering from the rain.

I overheard one of them ask the other..

'Have you heard any Rage Against the Machine albums? They're really good, I borrowed a CD from my grandson.'

It was SOOOOOOOOO cute, I wanted to scamper up to them and indulge in some man cuddles.

I chuckled for ages.

Five days!!

Gosh, I'm so lucky.

Here is my in-depth study of epilators for boys (and girls), which I promised a couple of people..

I read about fifteen reviews of various epilators and settled on buying the Braun Silk-pil SoftPerfection, it's for females, but I don't care and neither should you, besides I couldn't find an epilator designed primarily for men, odd world.

The first time I used it, I sat there pulling faces at the manual and the epilator in tandem, my right eye was looking in fear at the epilator and my left was scrunching up in confusion at the manual and the amount of attachments supplied.

I eventually worked it out and started off (almost shaking from fear) with the starter head attachment (it has less tweezer things) and on the lowest speed.

I began on my upper thigh, and it hurt, not a terrible pain, just really uncomfortable and kind of weird, but then the first time you try anything would feel odd me thinks, sex probably feels strange the first time, but within a few weeks you'll be doing it three times a day, hopefully.

Anyway, erm, after using the starter attachment for a couple of minutes I got used to it and increased the speed to MAXIMUM, I felt so brave.

It still felt weird but not painful, so I eyed the manual for a while, and decided to fit the advanced attachment with the SoftLift system, which has more tweezers so it removes more hairs per stroke.

It was aaaaaaaaaaaaace, and only took about two passes to remove every hair within an inch and a half square, it does seem time-consuming at first, but the best thing is you can do it listening to music or watching television or reading (which is almost impossible using a razor), once you get used to it, it can be done pretty much blind, because you can feel when it's not plucking hairs and move on to other places, being all multi-tasking and clever.

It took about ten minutes to get used to the sensation of hyperdrive, the red spots it left when it pulled the hairs out only lasted about an hour.

Having suffered from shaving rash for months and months, it's almost completely gone now (after only a day or two), and I've never been smoother.

I wouldn't recommend using it on your testicles though, I saw a bright light and a strange figure who resembled Gordon Ramsey when I tried that.

This morning I used it on my pubic hairs and armpit (had to let them grow for two days, wasn't pleasant), and it wasn't all that bad, no worse than my inner thigh, which still tops the chart for feeling tender and violated, this got easier as well though.

Oh, and it grabs even the smallest and finest of hairs, even down to 0.5mms.

Did you know humans have a surface area of 400 metres squared, I remember reading it somewhere, yeeeeeears go, that's your internal organs only.

Human skin averages out at only 2 metres squared..

Anyway, I've rambled far toooooo much..

If you want smooth skin, and you're a girl or a boy (or other), buy one, don't give up, be patient..

It's SO worth it.

Just don't use it on your testicles (or your eyebrows/head-hair), if you have them.

I'm never shaving again.

I found the cheapest place to get it was from Amazon, I got the Philishave Coolskin as well, it's equally fantastic (but a different story I'm too lazy to tell you about today) and is even closer than my old Wilkinson Sword Quattro, which is now gathering dust in my drawer.

Basically, it's cheaper than waxing, less painful (feels like the 'just after tattooing tingle'), and just as effective.

I should probably proofread this but I can't be bothered right now, hope it was helpful to some.

It's so daft the I feel weird replying to comments people leave in the forums I make, I should get over that, yep.

**EejitEdit

I'm already packed (did it last night) and I don't leave until next Friday, the people that chose childish and impatient were right, hehe.

I need a cuddle.

I might epilate more instead, not as good as a cuddle but I'll take what I can get :).

Oh, and I retired my genital piercings a few days ago, feels so strange, meep.

Curling up on the sofa, cuddling my pillow and reading seems like a good idea right now, that's where I'll be.

Do me!
